“In recent days, the situation seems to have stabilized and the process is calming down, but, of course, we should not loosen up and continue as mobilized as possible. Of course, the whole health care system works very well.

We have said before and I want to reiterate that no citizen should be left without care and we should take care of everyone as much as possible. In addition, I must reiterate that the main solution for us in this situation is vaccinations and we must call on everyone to get vaccinated. We will vaccinate a million people soon. Our task should be that 2 million citizens should be vaccinated by the end of September.

Some of them will be vaccinated once, some twice. Probably a million have already gone through the coronavirus infection. Eventually, we think and our doctors and scientists say that the situation will relatively stabilize. Their prediction is this. We have a few weeks left to go through this difficult period together and from October, according to all prognoses, there will be a calm period, the situation will stabilize, but we must get there mobilized and this situation must be managed.

The vaccination process is going very well. The Minister also expanded the vaccination process in Tbilisi, and we started it with buses. This process needs to be further expanded. We have to cover the regions as well. The involvement of military doctors is also important, they go to the villages in the regions and vaccinate the population on the spot. We have to deliver vaccines to all the villages and offer free vaccinations to the population on the spot”, - concluded Irakli Garibashvili.
