The Interagency Coordinating Council’s recommendation is that 80% of teachers should be vaccinated in schools, said today Vice Prime Minister of Georgia Levan Davitashvili.

“Teachers are being vaccinated intensively. The Coordinating Council’s recommendation is that 80% of teachers should be vaccinated in schools.

As for the start of studies at the higher education institution, the decision of the Coordination Council has not been made yet. We have a meeting tomorrow and there will be a discussion about it among others.

However, we clarify once again that it depends on the epidemiological situation and the recommendations given by epidemiologists”, - added Levan Davitashvili.
