Students registered in Tbilisi with a social score of 150,000 or less are now to be funded. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“Until 2021, funding was provided for Tbilisi-based undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students whose families’ social score was 70,000 or less, as a result of the changes, nowadays, students registered in Tbilisi with a social score of 150,000 or less are now funded.

Funding, with a maximum amount of GEL 2,250 per year and GEL 1,125 per semester, depends on the student’s academic performance in the previous semester. Funding for tuition for socially vulnerable students is paid semesterly, twice a year”, - added Kakha Kaladze.
