30 years have passed since the establishment of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.

The Minister of Defense, Juansher Burchuladze, congratulated the employees of the Ministry on the founding day of the Ministry of Defense.

By the decision of the Minister, for their contribution to the development of the Ministry, employees with 25 or more years of service and military servicemen of the Defense Forces were awarded cash prizes.

Georgian Defense Ministry was established by the decree of Zviad Gamsakhurdia on September 9, 1991.
