Mtavari channel’s 26-year-old cameraman, who was injured in an incident at the Georgian Dream headquarters in Kareli, was placed in the New Hospital clinic in Tbilisi.

He was admitted to the hospital with multiple bodily injuries. The patient was adequate on admission.

According to Mtavari, their cameraman was thrown from the second floor of the Georgian Dream office in Kareli, while the party claims that “the cameramen was leaving the area by walking backwards, when he fell down the stairs”.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs says an investigation has been launched into the incident under Article 124 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates less serious or severe health damage by negligence.
