Police arrested one person for theft

The officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department detained L.Ch. (DoB 2001) as a result of operative and investigative activities for theft.

The committed crime envisages from 3 to 5 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person broke the rear window of a car belonging to D.K. (DoB 1977) stole various valuable items and fled the scene.

Law enforcement officers seized the stolen items as evidence.

The investigation is in progress under Article 177, Part II, Subparagraph "A" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates theft, which caused significant damage.
