The Mayor of Tbilisi said today that on October 23-24, capital is to host autumn harvest from all over Georgia. The trading will be held within the framework of the Tbilisoba holiday.

“As you know, due to the pandemic, Tbilisoba (Tbilisi City Feast) was celebrated in a TV format, with a musical performance and the awarding ceremony of the honorary Tbilisian, with the participation of more than 200 musicians and soloists, two orchestras, bands, ensembles, about up to 100 members of engineering and creative groups.

After the tragedy in Batumi, we refused to implement the musical part of Tbilisoba and the money allocated for the project will be transferred to the Fund for Assistance to the Victims and Affected Families. As for the honorable Tbilisians, their award ceremony will be held this year as well.

In addition, on October 23-24, Tbilisi will host the Autumn Warm Spell, agricultural products from all over Georgia. Special places will be allocated for this in different districts of the capital. During these days, foreign trade will be allowed in Chugureti District, near the Marjanishvili Underground Station; in Samgori – at 10 Victor Kuprava Street, the so called Svanetians Market area; in Gldani District - Nozadze Street; in Didube District - Stanislavskiy Street (adjacent to Didube Plaza); in Digomi District – 1 Paichadze Street (near the square park); in Saburtalo District - in the vicinity of the Sports Palace; in Vake District - in Gegeshidze Park”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
