Special Penitentiary Service reports on fire suppression at N17 Rustavi prison. According to the statement, because of the fire, which is almost localized, the penitentiary institution is not supplied with electricity.

“After the restoration of electricity supply, all prisoners will be given the opportunity to contact their family members. We once again call on everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information and to respect our community.

The Minister of Justice personally controls the situation together with the leadership of the Penitentiary Service”, - reads the statement.
