Driver’s license to be mandatory for moped, quad-bike drivers

Driver’s licenses will be mandatory for all types of moped and quad-bike drivers in Georgia starting March 1, 2022.

Besides, drivers will have to register their mopeds with the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Also the practical part of the exam for granting driving license will be two-stage.

The impetus behind the new laws is Georgia’s responsibilities to the EU under the Association Agreement.
