Worker falls into an elevator shaft of a building in Tbilisi

A worker fell into an elevator shaft in Tbilisi. The incident happened in Didi Digomi, in a building under construction.

A 20-year-old boy was taken to hospital. His life is not in danger.

The incident took place at the construction site of the construction company “Galaxy Contract”.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under Article 240 of the Criminal Code, which stipulates violation of safety rules during mining, construction, or other work.
