Alec Baldwin urged for film and TV production companies to employ police officers on set to monitor weapons safety.

The actor has called for more safety on film sets in the wake of the tragedy and suggested a police officer should be hired to monitor any weapons.

A post on the Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation Twitter page reposted by the actor on his personal Instagram account said: “Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety”.
