The Coordinating Council made a mistake when it permanently granted Green Status to the citizens cured from COVID-19 - Tengiz Tsertsvadze

The Coordinating Council made a mistake when it permanently granted Green Status to the citizens cured from COVID-19. Such a statement made today the Director-General of the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center.

“I do not expect that the Green Passport introduction will make a turning point in the epidemic.

The Coordinating Council made a mistake when it permanently granted Green Status to the citizens cured from COVID-19.

Those who have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months should be given a Green Passport, as in other countries. Georgia will have 2 COVID-passports: one for foreigners, where the health condition of the last 6 months will be considered, and the other, for domestic use, where all those recovered will be considered. This does not seem right, and I hope they will change the decision”, - added Tengiz Tsertsvadze.
