Traffic restrictions imposed on some roads of Georgia

Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, according to the National Environmental Agency, there is avalanche danger on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road.

For this reason, traffic is forbidden for all types of vehicles on this road section.

Road cleaning works on Gudauri-Kobi section will be started after removal of avalanche danger and traffic will be resumed in the shortest possible time from commencement of cleaning works.

Besides, traffic restrictions have been imposed on some road sections of the Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi and Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda highway.

Because of the weather conditions, trailers, semi-trailers, and buses with more than 30 seats have been banned from km1-km36 Akhaltsikhe-Kartsakhi highway andkm90-km112 road section of Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda highway.

Other vehicles are permitted on these road sections.
