Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II has blessed Shalva Papuashvili, the newly elected Chairman of the Parliament.

“Today, on December 29, 2021, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II blessed the newly elected Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Mr. Shalva Papuashvili and presented him with an icon”, - reads the statement of the Patriarchate.

The Chairperson of Parliament visited Catholicos-Patriarch with his wife and daughter.
