The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia imposed on 7 road sections due to heavy snowfall. The restrictions are as follows:

Movement of semi-trailers and trailers is prohibited on the Gudauri - Kobi section.
A 50 km section of the Khashuri – Akhaltsikhe - Vale road section, movement is restricted for semi-trailers and trailers.
Traffic on Mleta - Gudauri and Gudauri - Kobi road sections is allowed non-stop only inside avalanche protecting tunnels
Only off-road traffic is allowed on the 20-km section of Batumi – Akhaltsikhe highway
Trailers, semi-trailers are prohibited on the first 22 km of the Alpana - Tsageri road, while other types of vehicles are allowed with anti-skid chains.
The movement of trucks is prohibited on the Nakerala Pass section of the Kutaisi – Tkibuli - Ambrolauri highway and on the Sachkhere - Oni highway
Trailers and semi-trailers are prohibited on nearly 100 km of the Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi highway (km18-km106).
