Georgia-Kazakhstan flights are running smoothly, reads the statement of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Against the background of the unrest, the Georgian Embassy in Kazakhstan is working as usual. A hot line has been opened, citizens of Georgia can call +7 (717) 224-32-58.

Mass actions began in Kazakhstan due to rising prices for liquefied petroleum gas. The authorities have already announced that the cost of fuel will be lowered, but the protests have not subsided. The President of the Republic introduced a state of emergency in several regions of the country, but the wave of protest intensified, and riots broke out.
