The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili, together with the President Salome Zourabichvili, the Chairman of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, and the representatives of the executive and legislative authorities attended the Christmas service in the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

The Divine Liturgy celebrating the Nativity of the Savior was officiated by His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos-Patriarch of All-Georgia Ilia II assisted by Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri) of Senaki and Chkhorotsku, Members of the Holy Synod, and clerics.

Before the Divine Liturgy, the congregation at the Holy Trinity Cathedral listened to the Nativity Epistle of the Georgian Patriarch.
