The Prime Minister of Georgia has released a statement on the social network on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day.

“Today we pay homage to the memory of millions of victims of the Holocaust, the greatest tragedy in human history.

We will never forget the lesson of the Holocaust loudly urging us to prevent in the future any policy grounded in hatred, intolerance, and self-superiority beliefs.

The memory of the victims of the Holocaust obligates every nation and government to secure an international community building on peace, mutual understanding, and cooperation, a world where such evil will never again take place”, - reads the statement of Irakli Garibashvili.
