The European Research Centre for Anti-Corruption advancing Georgia to 32nd spot in the global Public Integrity Index.
In the Public Integrity Index 2021, Georgia is ahead of such countries as Israel, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Greece, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, and others.
The Public Integrity Index 2021, published by the European Research Centre for Anti-Corruption, the world’s leading research organization, assesses the integrity of a given state’s governance practices, judicial independence, and freedom of the press, also administrative burden, transparency and accountability of state institutions. The Public Integrity Index ranks Georgia 1st in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Georgia has also earned the highest points in the post-soviet space, ranking second only to Estonia. The Public Integrity Index 2019 Georgia was ahead of all three Baltic states, ranking 4th among the post-soviet states.
