Mikheil Saakashvili’s trial is to be held in Tbilisi City Court today, June 15. The case concerns the embezzlement of USD 9 million from the state budget.

According to the lawyers, most likely the former president will not be able to attend the trial due to his health condition. Accordingly, the hearing is likely to be postponed.
