UEFA European Under-21 Championship starts today

The 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship begins in Georgia and Romania today as the four groups commence.

Games will take place in Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest in Romania and in Batumi, Kutaisi and Tbilisi in Georgia. All matches at the European U21 Championship will be staged at eight stadiums in total. They are split equally with four in Romania and four in Georgia.

The Georgian squad will face Belgium, Portugal and the Netherlands in Group A of the competition.
