A cyber attack on the website of the President’s administration was prevented - SSSG

The State Security Service prevented a cyber attack on the official website of the administration of the President of Georgia, as a result of which the integrity and authenticity of the information posted on the website www.president.ge was violated.

“As a result of implementing a number of emergency response measures, the mentioned cyber attack has been prevented and the website of the presidential administration is functioning normally.

Additional activities of the investigation of the incident are underway in order to check other vulnerabilities of the mentioned website, as well as to identify the culprits and take further legal action”, - reads the statement of the SSSG.
