In cooperation with the US Embassy, the area of access to services for probationers further expanded throughout Georgia.

The Ministry of Justice of Georgia has received 10 devices providing electronic control and services of probationers and 50 pieces of monitoring tags for those under house arrest from the United States Embassy.

In particular, the Embassy donated the equipment, in addition to handing a vehicle and digital equipment for distribution and sale of agricultural products to the Centre for Professional Training and Retraining of Convicts.

The former devices would expand the area of access to services for probationers as the hardware would be distributed to 10 territorial units throughout the country, increasing the total number of equipped facilities to 27.

Probationers could register for the service and receive it through the device in Public Service Halls and municipal venues without having to visit the Probation Bureau, ensuring anonymity and increasing the geographical area for probations.
