Member of the National Movement arrested in Batumi

A mmember of the National Movement was arrested in Batumi. Revaz Kharazi is accused of hooliganism, however,he has not yet been formally charged.

The incident is related to the controversy of Kharazi`s friend, Solomon Bajelidze and police officers.

Bajelidze himself says that two days ago he was accused of hindereing movement of Archil Khabadze`s police escort and deprived of a driving license for one year,which Revaz Kharazi protested against.

The UNM members spent the whole night in the detention.

According to the Interior Ministry, Revaz Kharazi was detained for minor hooliganism.
