The Head of the Georgian State Security Service reaffirmed the ongoing strong partnership between Georgia and the US at the departmental level, emphasising that relations had never faltered, with new stages of cooperation being planned.

“I hope that the temperature of this political boiling will decrease and we will return to normal partnership relations, we will continue our fruitful cooperation, including from a political point of view, in security and defence.

At the departmental level, our ideal relations and partnership [with the United States] continue. It didn’t stop even for a single moment. Moreover, we communicate on a daily basis and plan new stages of interesting cooperation”, - said Grigol Liluashvili.
