A working meeting was held between the Minister of Education and the Committee Chairman. A several-hour- negotiations were held behind closed doors.

The minister said that the meeting was about the upcoming changes in the Law on Higher Education, which was prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science.

"They do have some questions, ideas. So I think tthat such meetings are useful, "- said Tamar Sanikidze.

The committee did not agree on certain issues at the first reading of the bill.
