Lying is the way of life of Mikheil Saakashvili. Such a statement made Irakli Kadagishvili, the Chairman of the Parliament’s Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules.
His comments followed after the US Embassy in Georgia said the issue of Saakashvili had not been addressed during the recent visit of the US Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Congressman Mike Turner to Tbilisi.
“In general, lying is his [Saakashvili’s] way of life. This person lied even when he said that “I was poisoned, tortured, I am starving” and in general, as soon as he is given any means of communication, he immediately lies.
The fact that he lies, it is his style and signature, and there is nothing surprising about it. The sad thing is that a large part of the so-called Georgian opposition is united around this lie and they are trying to keep a certain part of the citizens of Georgia around this lie”, - said Irakli Kadagishvili.
