NGOs do not trust the process of the promotion of judges going on in the High Council of Justice .

Seven NGOs have issued a statement.

"The process is connected to appointment of judges in forcified manner without competition. The latest developments in the Council raise questions about the goals and motives of the decisions taken by its the members and creates lack of trust to these processes in the society . "- says the statement.

Civil society representatives said that the promotion of judges and appointment procedure should be clearly outlined and only then should enter into force.
