According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in connection with the Georgian Dream event, movement of cars on certain streets in Tbilisi is restricted for a certain period of time

“As it is known to the public, on October 23, the pre-election final event of the political party “Georgian Dream Democratic Georgia” is planned to be held in Tbilisi.

In connection with the mentioned event, the traffic movement on certain streets in Tbilisi was restricted for a certain period of time.

According to the information provided by the Georgian Dream, the scheduled meeting will be large-scale event, as in addition to citizens living in the capital, people from the regions will also join the pre-election final event.

Employees of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be mobilized at the event site and surrounding areas in order to protect public order and ensure safe movement of transport.

Due to the expected heavy traffic, we urge citizens to refrain from traveling by private means of transportation.

The restriction imposed in connection with the event will be enter into force from 00:00 on October 23 until the end of the meeting. Traffic movement will be restored after the event”, - reads the statement of the agency.
