Ilia Injia, Varlam Liparteliani, and Nika Elisashvili left today the Georgian Dream and the ranks of the majority, and will continue their activities in the Parliament as an opposition party.
They formed an opposition parliamentary political group on the basis of the “European Socialists” party.
“The mission of the political group will be to perform the function of a healthy opposition, which will effectively supervise the activities of the Government and the parliamentary majority. The attitude of the members of the new political group towards the radical opposition will remain as principled as it has been to this day. Everything will be done to prevent the [United] National Movement from returning to its dark past”, - said Ilia Injia.
