Ian Kelly, the US Ambassador to georgia commented on the court proceeding against Rustavi2 . He once more underlined an importance of judicial independence and media freedom.

"The United States believes that the freedom of  media and judiciary is a very important value. Therefore, I would comment in general. I think that the main thing is to ensure the society that the court proceeding in regard to Rustavi2"s case is transparent.  An appeal process will be provided properly, it is a positive moment,"- Ian Kelly said.
