Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Georgia, Robin Dunnigan.

The meeting discussed the agenda of cooperation between Georgia and the US and noted that the partnership between the two countries, which is based on common values and interests, requires positive dynamics, the readiness of which the Georgian government has repeatedly confirmed.

The parties noted that the strategic relations established between the countries over the decades are the best basis for deepening future cooperation.

The meeting also discussed the security environment and challenges in the region and the world, and, in this context, the importance of the support and cooperation of the US. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to actively work to achieve progress in the strategic cooperation between the US and Georgia.
