Robert Hermann, a Vice President of Freedom house discussed the case of Rustavi2 in an interview with Voice of America. According to him  the Rustavi 2 issue is a part of a bigger problem that threatens media freedom, rejects legal processes and rule of law.

Non-governmental organizations, media representatives and representatives of the political parties state that the announcement is "alarming." They believe that if the government will not take  into account the opinion of the international organizations the country will suffer.

The ruling party members don"t share Robert Hermann"s point of view.

Freedom House examines the level of freedom around the world and publishes an annual ranking. Georgia has been in a  group of partly free countries for years.
