A meeting of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy  with non-governmental organizations has just ended.

The media-related issues were discussed at the meeting.  Reportedly, Federica Mogherini had  already been  informed on the issue of Rustavi2. Georgian NGOs represented their position on the issue.

The main issue was the theme of media and Rustavi2"s case. She  clearly expressed her position and stated that media pluralism,  different opinions and its development is very important for the country, "- said  Ana Natsvlishvili, a chairman of  the Young Lawyers" Association .

" A few years ago, when we were  asked what was the media environment in Georgia, we have been saying that we had achievements in this field. Now we say that there are alarming tendencies,"- said Eka Gigauri.
