The Supreme Court Chairperson made a scandalous statement regarding Tamaz Urtmelidze`s verdict on Rustavi 2 case. Nino Gvenetadze said that she wanted to hear from Tamaz Urtmelidze the answers to the questions raised by the public at Supreme Council meeting. As she claims Tamaz Urtmelidze agreed to Gvenetadze`s offer, but later refused to come.

The reasons explaining Urtmelidze`s decision not to come to the meeting of the Council are unknown to Gvenetadze .

The Supreme Court Chairperson is not going to talk about the deficiencies of the ruling until the end of the proceedings, but she is planning to meet with thethe court chairman and speaker.

The former Prime Minister has questions to Tamaz Urtmelidze as well. Ivanishvili said that judge Tamaz Urtmelidze has not violated the Constitution, but at the same time he said that the judge made the decision politically unprofitable, thus damaging the image of the Government.
