The Communications Regulatory Commission talks about the threat of Rustavi-2 switched off, and reminds the parties the risk of leaving the company without an authorized person. Vakhtang Abashidze, said withoutauthorized persons the company could have problems indealing with third parties, and in case of failure to fullfil financial obligations the channel can be switched off.

The founder of Stereo Plus explains that the channel could not be shut down earlier than six months upon request of any person. The only thing that could ignite such a threat is a failure of a financial liability. Rustavi-2 is obliged to cover obligation at the end of the month tand as it has turned up the company has additional 30 days in reserve.

The Regulatory Commission estimates, Rustavi 2"s editorial independence is guaranteed, and its programming has not changed.

Kakha Bekauri, member of the Commission, says that judge Urtmelidze`s ruling presents no threat to the media. Bekauri agrees with the judge`s motivation and says that interfering with editorial policy of Rustavi 2did not take place.
Rustavi-2 believes that the Regulatory Commission member, Kakha Bekauri has violated the law.
