The Constitutional Court will decide today whether Rustavi 2 TV"s attorneys constitutional claim will be accepted.
The lawyers appealed Procedure Code, Article 271. The judge was guided by this article when taking the decision to ensure the enforcement of the judgment on November 5, based on which, the broadcasting company"s general and financial directors authority was suspended and interim managers were appointed.

TV lawyers demand the suspension of this provision. Four judges will consider the issue . Among them are Kote Vardzelashvili and Maya Kopaleishvili, whose recusal is required by the parliamentary majority.

"We hope that the Constitutional Court will accept the appeal and stop the action of the norm," - said Tamta Muradashvili.
