EU Foreign ministers are meeting in Brussels. A Foreign Minister of Georgia held several meetings shortly before that.

The meeting was attended by a Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations.

European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy. Johannes Hahn confirmed that the meeting they also touched on Rustavi 2. Johannes Hahn confirms that the issue of Rustavi2 was also discussed at the meeting.

" Yes, there was a discussion on this issue. We have stressed the necessity of  the freedom of media and the rule of law. We have also discussed  the progress that Georgia has made and how our cooperation will be further strengthened. This applies to the deep and comprehensive Free Trade Agreement implementation process, support for economic diversification, independence of the judiciary and the rule of law. " - Johannes Hahn said.
