A Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia summed up the meeting of the Georgian-American group of Democracy and the rule
A meeting was held in Washington and the main topics were the electoral environment and development of democratic institutions in Georgia .

Discussions were held on the issue of the broadcasting company Rustavi2. The briefing was held by the first Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

"The United States gave a positive assessment of the developments in regard to Rustavi 2, which gives the possibility to continue the appeal procedures and to maintain media pluralism in Georgia, - was stated at the briefing.
