Closing ceremony of the World Fencing Championship in Georgia was held at the Tbilisi Arena

The Fencing World Championships have ended in Georgia. The country hosted the World Championships for the first time. The closing ceremony was held at the Tbilisi Arena.

At the ceremony, the International Federation flag was handed over to Hong Kong, the host city of the 2026 Championship. More than 1,200 male and female fencers from 120 countries participated in the tournament.

At the World Championships held in Tbilisi, epee fencer Sandro Bazadze successfully competed, winning a gold medal.
