Two people were badly injured in Chiatura, during Perevisi mine explosion. As the company Georgian Manganese explained the explosion happened during maintenance works.

This is the second such case in this mine in the past year, due to which the United Trade Union has claims toward the company. According to them, security norms are not adequately maitained .

As for the injured, they were taken to Tbilisi. The doctor said that their lives are not in danger. Both odf them have body burn injuries and affected vision.
