Uzbek and Georgian students participated in a camp organized by the Innovation and Technology Agency

An Artificial Intelligence Camp for I - IV year students was organized by the Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia at the ROOMS KOKHTA Hotel in Bakuriani.

Within the framework of the existing cooperation between Georgia and Uzbekistan, 50 pre-selected Georgian and 10 Uzbek students participated in the camp.

During the week, participants were actively involved in lecture processes, learned about AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, importance of cybersecurity, data science. Besides, the participants actively worked on creating their own startups. 11 teams presented their projects to the jury on the demo day.

This month, the Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy organized two camps in Kakheti and Bakuriani. Participants spent a week attending lectures, learning the fundamental principles of art, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics [STEM], and applying them to practical projects. Uzbek students joined their Georgian peers at the Bakuriani camp.

The Innovation and Technology Agency covers all participation and related expenses. The initiative aims to spark interest in technology and innovation among young people while helping them develop practical skills and knowledge for future careers in the sector.
