Minister of Health is on an official visit to the United States, where he is participating in meetings planned within the framework of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly.

As part of the visit, Mikheil Sarjveladze met with the founders of the American international foundation "The Stirling Foundation".

The foundation works in various regions of the world in such social areas as: development of local communities, emergency/emergency assistance, healthcare, support for internally displaced persons, support for women and children, and others.

The meeting discussed the close cooperation between the Ministry and the foundation, ongoing and planned projects, as well as opportunities for deepening future partnership.

The meeting was attended by the Georgian Ambassador to the US, Tamar Taliashvili.

The Minister is scheduled to participate in and deliver speeches at high-level events in New York, within the framework of the UN General Assembly. Mikheil Sarjveladze will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterpart ministers.
