The French president will leave for Moscow today, where he will meet with Vladimir Putin. Earlier, Francois Hollande hosted German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the Elysee Palace.

Joint statements were made with regard to the strengthening of the fight against terrorism. Hollande said that no country is immune to terrorism, and the joint fight against the standards is critical.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of the de-escalation of the situation between Russia and Turkey.
