Turkey is not going to apologize to Moscow for downing the Su-24 plane said the country`s president in an interview with Western media.

According to Recep Tayyip Erdogan"s view, the apologies should be rendered by the side that violeted Turkish air space. He said that after the incident, he repeatedly tried to contact Putin but to no avail.

He strongly denied the allegations of Moscow on oil trading with the Islamic state. Erdogan accused Moscow and said that Russia is not fighting against the terrorist group in Syria.
