Seasonal flu cases are increasing in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, the agency is managing the process and the number of hospitalizations has not increased.

At the moment, the "A" type virus is circulating in the country. Doctors are expecting a peak from the end of December. The main recommendation is vaccination, which is free and available to anyone.

Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Protection states that as of today, the situation is normal.

"The situation is absolutely normal today. The numbers we have, compared to previous years, are absolutely compatible with each other. There are no special circumstances. As for vaccinations, we have passed one stage quite successfully, there was a very high demand and now the second stage is underway", - added Mikheil Sarjveladze.
