The United National Movement members were physically abused in Marneuli Council. The reason was the meeting of the main opposition party members with pensioners to collect signatures.

At the City Council meeting, the Deputy Chairman,Valeri Metreveli verbally abused the National Movement MP Ragim Askerov and took him out of the hall, whereas Richard Gigani beat up the remaining in the hall opposition MP Givi Kveladze.

National Movement members have already informed lawenforcement agency`s about the incident.
