The court did not change the detention imposed on Giorgi Gakharia as a preventive measure

The trial of Giorgi Gakharia in the June 20 case was held at the Tbilisi City Court.

At today`s session, the admissibility of evidence was discussed, and the preventive measure of imprisonment imposed on Gakharia in absentia was reviewed.

By the court`s decision, the preventive measure of imprisonment was not changed. The lawyer`s request to terminate the case was also not satisfied.

Giorgi Gakharia has been charged in the June 20 case under the article, which involves intentional harm to health of more than two persons and abuse of official authority by a person holding a state political position.
