National Flag Day is celebrated in the Defence Forces

January 14 is the National Flag Day of Georgia. As a sign of respect for the country`s national symbol, military personnel of the Defense Forces solemnly raised the Georgian flags to the background of the national anthem.

On the occasion of Flag Day, a flag-raising ceremony was held on the territory of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and at the military bases of the Defense Forces.

The Organic Law of Georgia defines the National Flag Day of Georgia.
