Lawyers of Rustavi2 state that the complaint on seizure of TV company Sakartvelo"s shares still has not been sent to the Court of Appeal by judge Urtmelidze. The deadline for sending the complaint expired a month ago.
According to Rustavi 2"s and TV Sakartvelo"s lawyers, because of violation of the terms by Judge Urtmelidze a decision of the Court of Appeals is delayed. According to this decision a lien on shares may be removed and the shareholders will be able to sign a document, which was stopped based on Urtmelidze"s decision.
According to this agreement, in addition to selling shares of the company, Rustavi 2 would receive 6 million as an investment . As of today, according to the agreement terms, the broadcasting company should have received 3 million USD as a tranche.
